Shop for curvaceous stone slabs, delicious spices, incense holders and Aussie lube at this one-day fair curated by fruity candle maker Nonna’s Grocer and hosted by Cafe Freda’s.
You can buy loads of great Sydney makers, homeware brands and food products online, but it’s always better when you can see and feel the real thing. And for one day, some of the city’s top labels come together under one roof.
They’re taking over Abstract Thoughts Gallery — run by the folks behind Cafe Freda’s next door — for a pop-up market curated by designer Madeleine Hoy of Nonna’s Grocer.
Expect to find some of her fruit-shaped candles (including from the latest collection), alongside stone, marble and terrazzo pieces from Offcut; oyster-shaped incense holders, incense sticks, coasters and table linens by Corey Ashford; local spices and gift boxes stocked by Condimental; personal lubricant by Figr; pure rice sake imported from Japan by Sake Sake; fresh flowers styled by florist and plant book author Sophia Kaplan; and more, including jewelry, ceramics, and handmade carpets.
Both days from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
