Bedfordshire: Man in his fifties dies after crash between Bugatti and ambulance | british news

A man in his 50s has died after a Bugatti sports car and an ambulance collided in Bedfordshire.

The police received a report on Saturday around 6.30 pm of an accident between the blue sports car and an ambulance with blue lights along the northern lane of the A6.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, near the intersection with Barton Road, but it has not been made clear which vehicle he was in.

Although the man has not been formally identified, police said his next of kin have been informed and are receiving support.

Sergeant Tim Davies, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Police Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this time.”

He also urged anyone who witnessed the collision and those driving along the road at the time to contact Bedfordshire Police.
