Heritage walks

The Williamstown Community Center offers a regular walking group on Wednesdays that walk the area from 10:15am-11am. New members are welcome. This activity is free and includes morning tea.

Musicians wanted

Sunshine Community Brass is looking for new members for the vibrant band of musicians. With over 90 years of history, the band is looking to grow for the future. Sunshine Community Brass is currently looking for trumpeters and percussionists. It rehearses Tuesdays from 7.30pm, 45 Furlong Road, North Sunshine.

The All Aboard Club is 85 years old. It is a social association that is committed to charities, with speakers, theater and trips. It meets in the rooms of Williamstown City Hall at 1:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month. New members welcome.

AeroSpeakers Toastmasters Club

Do you want to develop self-confidence in communication, language skills and clarity in writing? Communal lunch and morning tea

The Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Williamstown will be holding a complimentary morning tea and lunch community every Friday at the Parish Center on Nelson Place. The morning tea starts from 10am. Coffee and tea are served, in addition to all kinds of fun activities such as knitting, board games and puzzles. Lunch is from 12.00-13.00, takeaway meals are possible. Check-in and vaccination status are required.

Booksale in Williamstown

Friends of Williamstown Library holds a book sale every second Saturday of the month from 10-12:30 am. The book sale will be held at the Williamstown library in the Friends room, which can be accessed through the front desk. The event is cash only. Residents of Altona Meadows and Newport are invited to join a Heart Foundation walking group that meets on Wednesdays and Fridays. The group runs for 60 minutes and is a great way to socialize and get active at the same time. Members must register with the Heart Foundation to become a member.

Williamstown Craft Market

Commonwealth Reserve comes alive on the third Sunday of the month for the Williamstown Craft Market. The market has over 50 stalls selling everything from handmade crafts, homegrown produce and food vendors. There will also be live music. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
