Dear Construction Workers, Today I am pleased to announce that the most comprehensive Construction Simulator experience to date, featuring officially licensed construction machines on two open world maps and co-op multiplayer for up to 4 players, is coming to both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on 20- 09-2022.
The Construction Simulator series, developed by weltenbauer. has always been dedicated to portraying the real-life experience of a construction worker, driving impressive machines and taking on the challenges of huge construction sites. And with all-new modern graphics, a day and night cycle, and improved earthmoving physics, the game feels even more authentic and immersive this time around.
The PlayStation 5’s wireless DualSense controller lets you feel the different terrain as you drive dumpers or vehicles over dirt, asphalt, grass and more. In this way you learn to maneuver your heavy machines more accurately and effectively.
Keep an eye out for bumps and curbs on the way to the next construction site as you will feel all the unevenness on the ground through your fingers, reminding you to drive carefully and always treat your machines with respect.
If you lend construction equipment for your job, you may get to work faster to avoid overspending on rents. But going into corners too fast will make you drift and realize how slowly you lose control of your vehicle as the controller’s triggers become sluggish.
Look forward to two new open world maps set in the US and Europe. Each setting has its own extensive campaign to master solo or in multiplayer with your friends. Of course, players on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 can join forces and work together on construction contracts.
On the European map Friedenberg, inspired by idyllic towns in southwest Germany, you will work on renewable energy solutions and improving city infrastructure, while one of your missions in Sunny Haven in the US will focus on renovating the port area to people attract more tourists to help the struggling downtown area recover.
In addition to the already well-known license partners from the previous installments such as Caterpillar, CASE, BELL and Liebherr, Construction Simulator adds a host of new renowned construction brands such as Doosan, Cifa, DAF and even Engelbert Strauss to personalize your workwear for the first time ever in the series. With over 70 licensed vehicles, machines and work clothes, the game is sure to make any virtual construction worker as happy as a real one.
Stay tuned for more announcements on our road to release. See you at the construction site!
