Downtown Kelowna Store Gets Ready to Open 10,000 Square Feet Second Floor – Kelowna News

Lakehouse on the way up

A home decor and kitchenware store in downtown Kelowna expands upstairs.

Lakehouse Home Store will hold a grand opening for the second floor this weekend, on Saturday, June 11 at 9:30 a.m

Located on the corner of Ellis and Bernard, the store renovated over 10,000 square feet of space in the past year to install more retail space and two state-of-the-art kitchens.

“Expanding our original location was a great way to celebrate ten years in business,” said co-owner Ben Boschman in a press release. “We are delighted to be able to offer our customers more of the brands they love, from Breville to Le Creuset, as well as launching cooking classes this fall.”

Lakehouse will add a “well-known and established” Okanagan chef to lead the culinary program.

The second floor will officially open this Saturday at 10:00 AM, half an hour after the grand opening, and the first 40 buyers on both Saturday and Sunday will receive a gift.
