Grand Bend stabbing victim dies in hospital



Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged three people in connection with a stabbing incident in Grand Bend.

OPP, Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Anishinabek Police Service (APS) Kettle Point responded to an attack on a Huron Street parking lot at about 10 p.m. Friday.

EMS transported the victim, 27-year-old Zacharey Hartman of Exeter, to hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Perth County OPP later arrested three people after information about a suspicious vehicle from Lambton County officers.

An 18-year-old and 22-year-old, both from Stratford, were charged with second-degree murder, while a 21-year-old from West Perth was subsequently charged with complicity.

All three have been held pending a bail hearing.
