Guns and gangs investigate after 34-year-old man injured in eastbound shooting

A 34-year-old man was injured in a shooting near Séguin and Florette streets in Gloucester on Wednesday evening.

He was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds that were not life-threatening, Ottawa police said Thursday morning.

Patrol officers were called to the scene at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday southeast of the intersection of Blair and Montreal roads.

Anyone with information, whether with dash cam or security footage, was asked to contact the Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5050.
