Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson took Washington DC by storm when they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the White House correspondents dinner in 2022 on Saturday.
The pair turned heads when Kardashian donned a dazzling silver sparkly dress, while Davidson donned a black suit and sunglasses for the first correspondents dinner since 2019.
Kardashian, 41, and Davidson, 28, sit at the Disney/ABC table as the Kardashians’ new reality show is on Hulu (which is owned by Disney).
President Biden will attend the star-studded event tonight, produced by veteran Hollywood award show producer Bob Bain and hosted by Trevor Noah.
The one-hour dinner will also feature an opening sketch by James Corden and another by Billy Eichner.
Assn. of the White House Correspondents. (WHCA) brought Bain — who recently produced the Critics Choice Awards and the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards — 10 weeks ago in the hopes that he can “raise this event to a level we haven’t had before,” President of WHCA Steven Portnoy told Variety.
In addition to Kim, Pete and producer Bain, Hollywood’s presence will also be felt through the various after-parties and celebrity Sunday brunches that will be held after the event, including gatherings hosted by ABC News, CBS News/Paramount Global, MSNBC and CNN.
The SKIMS founder and the “SNL” star flew from Los Angeles to DC for the gala after Kardashian’s week in court along with sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, as well as mom Kris Jenner, as they defended themselves against accusations that they were E! from giving a second season to Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s show, “Rob & Chyna”.
Kim was acquitted on Friday of Chyna’s defamation claims, but the jury has yet to rule on the rest of the charges. The deliberations resume on Monday, but the family’s lawyer told Page Six he doesn’t expect them to appear in court as many of them will attend the Met Gala in NYC on Monday in 2022.
Kim and Davidson began dating in October 2021 after she hosted “SNL.”
