Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray Tweet Both Sides of Ravens-Cardinals Hollywood Brown Trade

The 2022 NFL draft delivered everything from flashy outfits to surprising picks and, of course, blockbuster trades.

An important move was for the Baltimore Ravens to trade wide receiver Marquise Brown and their 100th overall pick for the only first-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals.

The Ravens later selected Iowa Hawkeyes center Tyler Linderbaum with the No. 25 pick they received from Arizona.

But Lamar Jackson wasn’t too thrilled with the front office’s decision.

In March, the star Baltimore quarterback made known his feelings about a potential deal that saw Brown sent to the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Excuse my Frans, very soon sir…But HELL NAW!” Jackson wrote on Twitter.

Unfortunately for Jackson, a deal involving Brown became a reality when Jackson and his former recipient parted ways.

Despite his dismay, Jackson made it clear that he was not upset by Linderbaum’s addition.

On the other side of the trade, Kyler Murray, Budda Baker and JJ Watt celebrated the arrival of their new wide receiver.

The trade sets a reunion for Murray and Brown, who were teammates on the Oklahoma Sooners. The two tied for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2018, and Murray went on to win the Heisman Trophy before becoming the first overall selection in the 2019 NFL draft. Brown was later selected 25th overall.
