Man seriously injured after climbing building in Adelaide CBD

The man attempted to climb a drain on the side of a city building on Clarence Place near Rundle Mall around 2 a.m.

He rose 40 feet (12 meters) before the pipe broke, causing him to fall more than two stories lower on the footpath.

Paramedics, police and firefighters rushed to the crime scene as his friends looked on in shock.

The young man from the suburbs of Adelaide is in the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries.
