Some Jif peanut butter products recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination

J.M. Smucker Co. has issued a voluntary recall of: select Jif peanut butter products sold in the United States because of potential Salmonella contamination.

The recalled peanut butter was distributed in stores and other outlets nationwide. Recalled products are those with lot codes 1274425 – 2140425. Lot codes are listed next to the best before date.

If consumers have in their possession products that match the above lot code numbers, they are advised to throw them away immediately.
