“In this video I show you the first complete ultimate abs exercise. This abs workout includes weighted abs as well as extended time under tension for the many different abs through one and a half reps style training. The key to getting your abs responding to your workout is to stop doing the same old abs when you train them.

“Far too often people feel comfortable using the same 4 or 5 abs in their abs and it quickly leads to what I call old abs. If you want to drive all the new advancements in your abs, you have to provide your core challenges what your body isn’t used to yet. One and a half reps will do just that.”

“As you can see, it’s much harder to complete a rep of an abs if you have to stop your momentum midway through the exercise and get it back to its original direction. This requires you to have great core strength and control. You must then have the strength to start the movement back in the intended direction. This has the overall effect of extending your time under tension and causing your abs to do more work.”
