This train ride near Toronto takes you on an adventure full of food, scenery and… murder? York-Durham Heritage Railway hosts a murder mystery game aboard a train, and you can find out who’s who as you journey through the countryside. It’s like being in an Agatha Christie novel.

Murder on the Petulant Express takes place on three separate evenings from 26 to 28 May in Uxbridge. The event takes you on a journey through a “classic whodunnit” complete with song, drama and laughter.

You will enjoy a 4-course meal aboard the heritage coaches with a choice of beef, salmon or vegetarian main courses. A cash bar is also available for your drinking needs.

During your meal, actors and actresses stroll the aisles, immersing you in the unfolding murder mystery. It’s up to you to find the culprit and solve the case before the train arrives back at the station.

The trip starts every evening at 7:00 PM and lasts until 9:30 PM. Tickets are available online for $99.99 per person.

The railway is hosting several other exciting events this year, including a summer high tea, brunch buffet, and more, so there are many unique things to experience while enjoying the view from the train.
