Two Krispy Kreme employees in Spartanburg, South Carolina, were taken to hospital after an argument over donut selection ended at the restaurant’s drive-thru, according to a police report. The brawl took place at around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday at the store on North Church Street in the city. According to the report, an argument broke out at the drive-thru between the employee who worked at the drive-thru and two customers who ordered donuts. During the altercation, the drive-thru employee and the man in the vehicle agreed to fight, the report said. It said the people in the vehicle then entered the restaurant, where they injured two employees who were trying to prevent the fight from taking place. According to the report, one of the people at the drive-thru pushed an employee to the ground and hit the employee with his head on the concrete floor. A female employee was then pushed to the ground from behind. They said the female worker had bruises on the right side of her chin, left eye and complained of knee pain. She has been taken to hospital. According to the report, the other employee told the officers that he did not remember much of the incident. He complained of a headache and was taken to hospital. Witnesses have given authorities the name of a possible suspect, but no arrests have been made.
