Well that was fast! VH1 just announced that the network is ending its long-term relationship with Ceaser Emanuel after footage of him allegedly abusing a dog. Less than 24 hours after the shocking video was released, VH1 also made it clear that while the network is done with Ceaser Emanuel, the upcoming season has already finished production.
In an official statement on Instagram, VH1 wrote the following about firing Ceaser Emanuel from the network’s hit series, “Black Ink Crew”:
“We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel of Black Ink Crew New York. Since next season production was almost finished, this decision will not affect the coming season.”
So far, Ceaser has not publicly commented on his resignation from the network, nor has he commented on the viral video in which he allegedly picked up a chair and repeatedly hit a small dog. Although he has remained silent so far, his former ‘Black Ink Crew’ colleague Donna Lombardi has berated him on social media.
As we previously reported, Donna didn’t hold back and let go of a lengthy message about Ceaser’s past and present behavior. “If you can treat a dog like that, it shows how sick you are of a person. I can’t even get into this guy’s life but this video made me so upset. Anyone who knows me knows that I love animals. Especially dogs,” she wrote.
She continued, adding: “Even after he beat his daughter, @vh1 @viacom_intl and the new @blackinkcrew producers tried to protect Ceaser, and even made up false conflicting storylines about my relationship to do it! Can’t do this now be undone I pray that people see you @ceaserblackink as the monster that you are Your karma has been building up for years but to do this to two innocent dogs!?! This is crazy COST MUST BE PRINTED, and CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE!”
Currently, no charges have been filed against Ceaser Emanuel in relation to the dog abuse allegations.
