Environment Canada’s weather forecast for Ottawa calls for 10 to 15 mm of rain during the day and a maximum of 23 C, with a humidity of 29.
Wind gusts can reach 90 km/h and there is also a chance of hail, says Environment Canada.
Severe thunderstorms are also in effect for the Upper Ottawa Valley, Lanark County, and the Prescott-Russell area, as well as the Outaouais and Pontiac regions of Quebec.
Showers and a chance of thunderstorms should end late Sunday evening. Mist develops at night, with a minimum of 12 C.
The forecast for Monday is mostly cloudy with a maximum of 24 C and a humidity of 28.
The outlook for Tuesday is sunny with a high of 27°C.
Wednesday also looks sunny with a maximum of 28 C.
