More swampy weather is on the way for Metro Vancouver Thursday, but there should be some sunny breaks Friday afternoon.

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Thursday 12 May. Today’s weather is expected to start with a good chance of showers and then transition to rain, with winds and a high of 10°C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. The agency also says the rain should lighten in the afternoon. Expect showers overnight with a minimum of 8C and then the region could get a little bit of sunshine Friday before another long stretch of gray weather sets in. The forecast is for a mostly cloudy day, with a good chance of showers in the morning, with possible sunny spells later, and a high of 12C. Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday should be cloudy but dry, then likely more rain on Sunday , maxima of 15 C and 16 C respectively. Thereafter, cloudy weather is expected to start next Monday, followed by possible showers on Tuesday and Wednesday, maximums of 14 C on all three days.
